Riverside Leisure Centre
The centre was re-opened on 9 October 2000 after a multi million pound refurbishment. Facilities include a 25m pool and teaching pool, squash courts, 6 court badminton sports hall ideal for five-a-side, netball, basketball and volleyball. There is also a dance studio, a health and fitness suite and a children's play area. The Riverside also offers a bar and cafe and a function room available for hire. The centre hosts a variety of special events including international sports events and concerts with a seating capacity of between 1000-1200.
